Is it still viable to be a domain name reseller? |

Years ago, anyone with a little bit of an imagination and $100 could purchase a domain name that was a cheap domain name registration. Supposedly, domain names, such as business.com was able to sell for 7.5 million. Domain names were a lot like the California gold rush in the 1800's.
Domain names sold upwards to millions of dollars. Unfortunately the domain name reseller gold rush is long gone and now many organizations have secured the domain name of their choice.
As I went and navigated to find marketable domain names, I've found that everything is taken. Also, when upcoming businesses are starting up, one of the first things that they do is purchase a domain name. So, sifting through new businesses and purchasing a name was out the door.
Domain name investing was a thing of the past. The former domain name resellers are now filthy rich because they were ahead of everyone else. It is up to us to become a domain name reseller in another sense- be watchful for the next best thing to come along and act immediately to take advantage of an opportunity, or the next gold rush.
