Another Tip to Find an End User Buyer

I want to share another tip with you on how you can find the contact information for an end user buyer. Now that LeadRefs is no longer an active website, performing Google searches is generally the most effective way that I find potential buyers of my domain names. I am sure you’ve done the same, so this is common knowledge.

Once you’ve exhausted the contacts you’ve made on the first few pages, you likely search other keywords to find a buyer or hang on to the name until someone contacts you. Been there, done that, don’t love it.

Here’s a quick tip to find additional contacts if you don’t want to use a service like Estibot.

Hope on to a proxy website like HideMyAss.com, Proxify.com, or NewIPNow.com and visit Google. Perform your keyword search again, and voila, new potential buyers. Because Google shows relavant listings based on your location (aside from the most popular websites of course), if you search from a different IP address located in a different region, you’ll likely find additional advertisers and listings.

As always, make sure your domain name is actually good and relevant to the people you are emailing or you’ll end up annoying people who have no interest in your domain name. In addition, become familiar with email laws to be sure what you’re doing is permissible.

  1. Every time you post a tip like this I do it straight away! Another great one and it looks like Im not getting any sleep tonight 🙂

  2. As long as you’re emailing end buyers one by one (and not in bulk) you’ll be fine. Spam = unsolicitated AND bulk.

unsolicitated and individual emails is fine (relevant offers sent one by one that could interest recipients)

solicitated and bulk is fine (ex. newsletter)

I use Google daily to sell low and mid-range domains to end buyers. Takes more time, but the results/sales outway the time & effort invested.
Top-tier domains: best results with passive sales, end buyer inquiries via parked page/who.is/email inquiry etc.
Highly effective and profitable business model.

    • Can you give hosting companies names which allow unsolicitated and individual emails?

I checked three and none of them allow. It doesn’t matter whether it is single or bulk, your account will get terminated if a complaint is received.

    • >I use Google daily to sell low and mid-range domains to end buyers.

In terms of price, what are the numbers? less than US$1,000?

  3. If you use FF – install and use Google Global add-on.
“Google Global is an unobtrusive Firefox extension that allows you to see what the Google search results that you are viewing look like from different geographical locations”.

  4. thanks for sharing this with us!

I use Chrome’s extension called “Google Global” – which shows google’s search result pages for different countries (including USA, CANADA, UK).

I would also recommend tool called ZFbot.com (Adam Dicker recommended this one) to find potential end users.

  5. Thanks for the tips. Adams also shared this tips comprehensively, but in a bit different way. The zfbot is to get more relevant domain owners and to use whois and email explorer to get the email addresses of those relevant owners and to sent it to them.

However, that clue requires buying of the software.

    Thanks once more.
