DNN: Network Solutions Sued

According to today’s post on DomainNameNews, a class action lawsuit was filed against Network Solutions and ICANN by the law firm of Kabateck Brown Kellner. The firm issued a press release announcing the action earlier today.
This is the second article written by Frank and Adam today about Network Solutions, the first being an article about the company monetizing a racially sensitive domain name owned by the NAACP, presumably to prevent links like this from being displayed.

  1. This sounds so familiar. It happened to me also. I searched for a domain name which was available, and before I knew it, it was registered by Network Solutions. With no choice, I had to register through them.

  2. These are the same people who, when I tried to transfer my fdomain from them, pretended that they were having technical difficulties in the transfer,(went on for a month) just long enough to say it was to late to transfer and I had to renew through them. They are the slimiest peices of @#%@# I have ever in my entire life have dealt with and they all should be thrown in jail. I have never seen such enethical practices by a company. They lied, cheated and stole from me, and the government protected them. They can all rot in the cold deep ground…..
