Domain Name for Sale
.NYC Domain Names Domain Name for Sale

One of the hottest songs being played and parodied right now is PSY’s Gangnam Style. You can’t really turn on the radio to a hits station or go to a night club/bar and not hear this song played at least once. There’s no doubt that it’s catchy and it’s fun.

The owner of the domain name hope this means a big payday, just like the owner of who put the domain name up for sale on Ebay about a month ago. There is a “for sale” landing page currently on

The domain name is owned by someone who appears to be from Seoul, South Korea, and it was originally registered July 21, 2012. The video was uploaded to YouTube on July 15. I asked for a price quote and was told the price is over $10,000,000.

I am sure the owner has received plenty of inquiries, but I think is pricing is a bit aggressive, sort of like the Gangnam Style dance.

Great price for gangnam style domain

Gangnam is a wealthy neighborhood in the South Korean city of Seoul where young people go to party. In the song, Psy describes the kind of guy he is and the kind of girl he wants, painting caricatures of the ostentatious culture of people who hang out in Gangnam.

I hope this not the guy who is selling domain ?

    LOL, 10 mill ??

But if anyone is considering making an offer they may want to consider searching the US trademark database first / asking an attorney … I think there may be a trademark or application for one on the term ‘Gangnam Style.’ Maybe their record company filed for something ?

Who knows, just a heads up.

I own the ones below. I was going to build a website/adsense etc., but I am
just going to sell them to someone who
can do that for themselves. I am to busy with my roofing company. Anybody interested? Thanks.
