Glad the Holidays Are Over!

I love the holiday season. People are more cheerful, friends and family send photo postcards, the snow begins to fall in New England ushering in the ski season, and I spend time traveling a bit more with my family, working on my “tan” and tennis game. Unfortunately, I am still working about as much as usual.

During the last two weeks of the year, it seems that most people are super busy. People have to close out their books, they have vacation days, they have office holidays, and people are less available to make deals happen. Emails either go unanswered or the response is that they will get back to me after the holidays. With so many people taking vacation days or simply busy with holiday-related activities, it’s tough to get deals done.

Every year around this time, it seems like I have a bunch of deals in the air in various stages. Some deals just need one final sign off and others are in their beginning stages. Some will go through as soon as Tuesday or Wednesday, and others may never go through.

The holiday season is a tough time to do business. I love seeing family and friends during the holidays, but I am glad the holidays are over! Here’s to getting back to business this week! Hopefully 2017 is good for you and me. I will be working on my 2017 business goals starting right now… as soon as I finish up on the tennis court.

  1. Holidays are a special time and who cares about business. It’s a time to have fun. Reflect and business can be done 98 percent of the time of the year.

Rip to the domainers and families. Life is short and the domainers who passed away I am sure they don’t wish they worked more or worry about deals.

    To a healthy 2017 everyone.

  2. I had the most .Com domain sales in December since June. All incoming sales too. A lot more .Com inquiries as well. Brandable and non-brandable.
I am still waiting to hear back on a few possible .Com sales from December.

    Long live .Com!
