Media Breakaway: New Platform Will “Revolutionize Domain Parking Industry”

TheParkingPlace.comLast week, I had a conversation with Scott Richter, CEO of Media Breakaway, and he was excited to discuss his company’s newest venture, TheParkingPlace.com. The platform has been tested with a select group of domain investors for the past several weeks, and in a press release this afternoon, the company announced the launch.

According to the release, “some clients are seeing up to $150 RPM on their domains which are monetized with a combination of CPC, CPA and CPV offers.”  Considering my RPM is significantly lower than that across my parked domain names, this could be big news. Richter specifically mentioned that geodomain names could be top performers on the platform.

I think Richter’s company is likely one of the most successful at data analysis, and that should benefit domain owners that sign up for an account on the platform.  The platform is accepting a variety of domain names including “top level, premium and adult domains and specializes in domains with less than $20 RPM that are currently generating less than $0.25 per click.

Media Breakaway is the parent company of Affiliate.com.

BTW, I was NOT compensated to post this news.

Today’s Press Release:

Media Breakaway, LLC, a pioneer in the performance-based marketing industry, announced the launch of TheParkingPlace.com today. This new domain parking solution will revolutionize the domain parking industry by taking domains beyond traditional PPC monetization methods.

TheParkingPlace.com is in a prime position to become the leading domain parking solution. By optimizing domains based on offer performance and traffic analysis, clients can expect to see revenue numbers increase by up to 400%. TheParkingPlace.com is able to optimize on all traffic from international countries which is the key to increased RPM for their clients.

“This is the end of PPC for domainers as we know it,” said Jenny Johnson, Vice President of Media Breakaway, LLC. “We are going beyond basic domain parking solutions and creating a superior alternative with automated landing page and offer optimization which ultimately can increase revenue for our clients.”

Through rigorous beta testing, TheParkingPlace.com team has been able to develop a premier tracking and reporting system which provides clients with current click, impression, revenue and RPM statistics. Some clients are seeing up to $150 RPM on their domains which are monetized with a combination of CPC, CPA and CPV offers. The program is currently accepting all types of domains including top level, premium and adult domains and specializes in domains with less than $20 RPM that are currently generating less than $0.25 per click.

“We are always focusing on developing bigger and better features for our clients,” said Ms. Johnson. “TheParkingPlace.com is just one more innovative tool that we have developed for our clients as a premier solution for domain monetization.”

  1. Damn…..after three years of stagnation….finally some serious companies are addressing this problem of low payouts for domains.

    This is awesome news!

Congrat’s on being the first to report it Elliot. It looks like you even beat Rick Schwartz to the presses. 🙂

  2. they are agressive with tm names and adult.. there even emailing trademark holders and asking for there business i been told.

is mike mann behind them as a seed investor?? ask mann he has the tm names

  3. I signed up and parked my domains, I’ll see how June goes. Excellent and quick response from Scott within minutes of sending the domain list. Platform looks very good as well.

Am very interested to see how this plays out. Looks good from here so far.

  4. Hello!
@Mike – Yes, it is about time that there are more options for domainers. We are excited to expand the options for everyone, we were tired of watching the numbers go down every month.

@adult – We have a ton of adult domains that we are currently monetizing, give us a try.

@Jason – Thanks for the business, working on your domains now. 🙂

  5. Now, this is the time for old Parking Companies to really take advantage of these developments, and compete for business. If the old companies change their ways, we will still give them business, because we want them to survive. We want vibrant competition. We need all the parkers. Use your heads. I’ve been complaining about this for a long time, and it made me look bad, but I’m willing to forgive these opaque businesses if they change now, and get with the goddamn program. Live and let live.

  6. Non secure sign up form…..

Maybe some people like to send their SS# and other sensitive data in plain text over the Internet. I don’t

  7. i tried to sign up anyway and it kept bugging me to enter my phone number, which i had, of course. tried a few different formats, no luck.

they can’t even get their sign up page right. what a joke..

has anyone had any luck signing up?

  8. Does this now mean all those who went to Frank Schilling’s will leave to sign up to this one? 🙂

I hope TheParkingPlace will not be a snub and give most domains a chance unlike some of the other parking companies.

PS- I don’t think Rick (the King!) ever understood how Frank’s new platform really functioned in depth as he was rushing to over-praise his buddy before anyone else did!

  9. Thank you for the feedback… I went to the site and my WOT application gave me a warning that the site is Phishing. Do you know these people if they are legitimate? thanks Elliot for your blog. 🙂

  10. Zonqor

That mightbe related to your browser in conjuction with their SSL certificate. It shows broken in Chrome but IE 9.0 it works fine.

I just moved about 30 .NL domains from Whypark to this place.. So far i do not like the landers at all….

  11. I am a customer of TheParkingplace.com now

I am very worried about the people who are behind them and characters.

Regret giving them my social security stuff and they have access to numbers

What a shady operation and there ethnics

My rpm is doing good but still makes me wonder what I should do.

    • @ worried

Why would you ever give your social security number? I wouldn’t even put it on my drivers license if it was requested, nor would I ever entrust ANY company in this business.

  12. Probably should have used business I’d number

All parking companies require this or business tax I’d number

    F u c k. Now I’m really worried and who they are.

I did my goof but bad feeling on this.

  13. I am sure I’m not the only one

Or how many domainers don’t use an LLC or something

Parked.com etc requires all this. Theparkingplace needs this.

  14. @theparkingplace

If you fuck with any of your scams with numbers

You will be in jail. Money can’t bail you out this time around and spam emails, Microsoft and etc

Here comes identity theft. Me and others.

I’m fucked. Others fucked. Were all fucked

  15. @worried The only reason we ask for this is so we can pay you. We need this information for the W9/W8 form. We have been in the internet business for over 10 years. We have one of the top affiliate networks in the industry – affiliate.com There is no reason to be concerned, we are not a fly-by-night company. If you have any concerns, I would be more than happy to jump on a call with you and go over anything.

  16. 10 years of what? Spam and paying Microsoft

You guys are by no means affilate experts

    Myspace , cons and etc

I’m so fucked. I see the writing on wall. I’m fucked.

Just a warning. You fuck with me, my family has the cash and we will get lawyers involved and burn you guys. No fines this time. Jail time if you do something with our shit.

So don’t come here thinking your experts or Affilate or internet operations.

  17. So far doing great. One RPM for me almost double and just got first weekly wire so i am happy now.

some people funny, microsoft been sued more then any one and my operating system come from them, people worry to much

  18. @frank

Your shady outfit. Not just Microsoft

Highly recommend you look at whole picture

They fuck with me, my family will tear them down and jail time

  19. @worried We are not going to “mess” with you. I do not want your family to tear me down and put me in jail. Again, we just collect the information for the W9/W8. I can have someone from our accounting department explain this in more detail if you want.

  20. If I suspect anything with things we will take take appropriate action. Mark my words

I get all this and requirements. That’s Not my worry

I am more worried on your questionable ethics, business practices and your myspace incidents. Fines won’t get you out and were fucked if you mess up. Judging my past you guys don’t give care about things.

    Consider this a warning.

  21. @worried (like sh*t)

Can’t you hear what Jenny is trying to tell you?! The tone of her talking doesn’t sound to me if they’re the type to mess with your stupid SS number – you keep repeating your garbage over and over again instead of trying to hear what the lady is telling you!

  22. Thats right “Worried”! You sound like a bloody idiot!
You should have your bloody SS number confiscated by the IRS.

Here the lovely lady Jenny (probably a beautiful bird) is trying to put your bleedin mind at ease.

What a crazy sod that lad is mates! Sometimes I wonder bout you yanks! Too much interbreeding across the pond aye?
