My Review of Primary.com

Last September, I wrote an article about Primary.com and its founders. The day I learned the website was open for business, I placed an order for Hailey (3 years old) and Oliver (3 months old). Shortly thereafter, I received my first order from Primary, and I subsequently  placed a couple of other orders since then.

When Primary.com launched, they sent me a promo code I could use and share to give and receive free shipping without a minimum order amount. If you want to try out Primary, you can use ELLIOT on the checkout page to get free shipping for a year (it’s not an affiliate code).

I want to share my review of Primary.com:

Branding

When I first learned about Primary, I assumed the “primary” branding was associated with primary school and children of that age. I was not entirely correct about this, although children of this are the target audience for Primary’s clothing. I think the Primary branding reflects the basics that the company offers. They offer an assortment of the standard clothes kids wear every day, and most of the pieces of clothing have a wide color palette from which to choose. I think a parent could shop on Primary.com and find just about everything for a child’s clothing needs (sans socks and undies).

Clothes

I would say the clothing arrives as pictured and described on the website. The colors look bright on the website, and they look the same out of the packaging. After washing them a couple of times, the colors are as bright as before and didn’t run. You can tell the quality is there, and I think the prices are fair. I am impressed with the assortment of clothes Primary offers, and my daughter would wear everything they sell. It’s all about the basics with Primary’s clothing, and that is great for us. The color selection is great, although I wish a couple of items came in additional colors.

Website

I found Primary.com was easy to use. Repeat orders were also easy. I became a Primary.com Insider, and I am able to get free shipping without any minimums. If you enter ELLIOT into the promo code section on the payment page, they will also give you free shipping without a minimum for one year. I’ve only ordered under $50 worth of clothing once, but it’s nice to know I can get free shipping when I need one or two things. The only suggestion I made to one of the founders is to add a message on the password reset page that lets me know a reset email has been dispatched to me. Everything else seems to work well and is easy to use.

Overall

I don’t like shopping for kids’ clothing, but it’s simple on Primary.com. I can buy clothing that will always be “in style.” I love the brand name, and I think Primary.com is a brand that is going to become very popular.
