NamesCon Registrations Tracking Ahead of Last Year

It looks like attendance at next year’s NamesCon domain conference is tracking ahead of last year, according to a tweet from last night:

I reached out to NamesCon founder Richard Lau, and he let me know they are expecting 1,400 people to attend, and there may be as many as 1,600 conference attendees. Attendance at NamesCon has continued to grow each year. In 2014, 500 people attended. In 2015, 900 people attended. At this year’s conference, there were around 1,200 attendees. This year’s attendance  could be  triple the size of the inaugural event!

Richard let me know that the NamesCon ticket price increases by $200 on November 12. The current ticket price is listed at $599. I see a spot for promo codes on the registration page, so it’s possible that there is a discount out there (perhaps a sponsor has a discount code to share?). I registered a few months ago and am looking forward to attending.

NamesCon 2017 will be held at the Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas from January 22-25. It is the largest domain industry event of the year.
