Ready for THE Domain Conference

THE Domain Conference is coming up in just about two weeks in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. I am looking forward to attending the conference and having a chance to connect with colleagues before the end of the year. The conference runs from September 26-29 at the Hyatt Regency Pier 66 hotel. Registration is still open and I believe there are still hotel rooms available at the conference rate.

Barbara Neu, who is organizing the conference with her husband Howard and son Ray, sent out an email this morning with a conference update. The email shares a quick synopsis of some of the main conference activities and events.

Here’s what Barbara had to say this morning:

We have been working hard behind the scenes to create an informative lineup of speakers, sessions, workshops, and still provide ample time to network. Activities including ping-pong, volleyball, tennis, Foosball, and more, will be available on Saturday and Sunday, all located around our private Cabana Networking Area. This is a great opportunity to team or challenge your co-workers, friends, and sponsors.

Jothan Frakes (@foap) is bringing DOMAINFest to THE Domain Conference on Sunday with great speakers on fresh and exciting topics.

Our Welcome Cocktail Party on Sunday night, located at the revolving Top of the Pier 66, is presented by THE Domain Conference, .CLUB, and .MIAMI and will have an UNLIMITED open bar and plenty of comfort food from 7:00pm – 10:00pm.

Monday’s schedule will include our Keynote Speaker Morgan Linton at brunch brought to you by VERISIGN, with continuous sessions and workshops until 6:00pm. Monday night will offer Gregg McNair’s famous suite Party sponsored by Igloo.

Tuesday will feature the Domain Industry Awards presented at lunch by DONUTS, with continuous sessions and workshops until 6:00pm.

Wednesday morning the traditional Farewell breakfast will be at the PierTop with beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean and Fort Lauderdale’s downtown skyline.

We hope you will feel our passion to provide a rewarding experience for you and your business here at THE Domain Conference at the beautiful Hyatt Pier 66…and with 5 restaurants on its campus from 5 stars to under the stars there really is never a reason to leave.

If you have any questions please contact me.

Looking forward to seeing old friends again and making friends with all the new attendees.

I am looking forward to attending and hope to connect with some of you there. Since the conference will be smaller than other conferences, I think it is a good opportunity to connect with company representatives without feeling rushed.

  1. Good Morning Elliot,

Thank you so much for publishing my letter – You made my morning !!

And looking forward to seeing you in our town – Ft. Lauderdale 🙂

    Barbara 🙂

I wonder how happy VERISIGN is to be sponsoring a brunch that Linton is speaking at? I would bet that VERISIGN doesnt know they are sponsoring the brunch he is speaking at. It is no secret how much he supports Negari and .XYZ and how much Morgan loves to talk up the new gTLDs on his blog. If VERISIGN knew this I am sure they would want it changed right away.

  3. When I sell that first Domain, big priority is picking up a used bike in MyrtleBeach and booking down 95 to the event. My Virginia motorcycle license is valid till 2020 and I can transfer it to North Carolina. I haven’t driven recently since crashing a Suzuki600 into an Interstate 66 guardrail near Washington, DC in 2012. That’s how I got into Domains… being immobilized following leg reconstruction. The team at INOVA Fairfax Orthopedics (Dr. Schwartzbach, Dr. Hymes, Dr. Najarian) did amazing work. Excited to hit the road again and see what’s going on in the world.
