Review Domain Name Sales’ Recent Quotes

Domain Name SalesOne of the neat features on Frank Schilling’s  Domain Name Sales website is the recent price quotes tab on the home page. This tab shows you all of the price quotes given by domain owners on the DNS platform. The quotes aren’t exact, but they do give you a price range for most of the names. This may be a good way for you to buy domain names.

I recently purchased a domain name after seeing it listed in the recent quotes section. I don’t want to mention the name because it’s a private deal, but I liked the name and the price range, and I was able to reach a deal with the seller (currently in escrow awaiting the domain transfer).

There is one important reason why you might want to look at the recent quotes for dealmaking opportunities. The names that appear there are in demand by at least one other person. If someone has given a quote for a name, it means someone else has inquired about it. Perhaps they passed on the price, but it’s always a good sign when a domain name has interest.

In looking through the domain names that are listed under recent quotes, you can see that most are end user prices rather than great deals. As a domain investor who is able to pay immediately without any complicated terms, you may be able to get a better deal. Reading through the recent quotes every few days can be a good way to find good domain names.

Yes, the prices may be higher and you may not get a great deal because an end user likely just inquired about the name, but perhaps you’ll find some good values if you look hard enough.

  1. What makes you like that name?

Base on my experiences watching Criminal Mind, I have a profile on you…Elliot- you like domain names that relate Brand and product.

In addition, you like to smoke Cuban cigar while chewing Boston deep fried chicken wings.

  2. Elliot,

Don’t you think that endusers will most likely not want to sell to domain investors or even not budge on the price?
I think loking over the quotes is great to get a overall sense of the market price.

  3. Indication of things. Goes to show .com and generic domains is the king.

I just closed my first domain sale and inquiry came from Frank. Was a nice sale.

Go Frank! And remember, .com will always be king.

  4. I too have had the worst experience with this company. I inquired about a domain name for sale and kept getting canned responses via email. My offer was too low (100.00’s offered) and got another email requesting I ‘make an offer in the thousands of dollars’ range. As stated by other users and seen on many other forums this site is an over priced over valued domain re-seller. as for the domain, not worth anything above 200.00 IMO. The owner can sit on it and renew it every year as we have taken our campaign in a direction that weeded out the domain PIMP!

    STAY AWAY FROM DOMAINNAMESALES.COM!!!
