Taryn Naidu Named to “40 Under 40”

Taryn Naidu, CEO of Rightside, was honored by the Puget Sound Business Journal in this year’s “40 Under 40” awards. Taryn was listed at #31 in the alphabetical slideshow.

Taryn has been CEO of Rightside since the company went public, and he has worked with the company since 2006. Taryn previously worked for Pool.com, another domain industry company.

According to the article, the honorees are “the young business executives who are rocking the Puget Sound region’s economy with their innovation and their entrepreneurial spirit.” There were 400 nominees for the 40 spots on this year’s list, and the award winners were selected by a panel of 8 judges.

Some of the other award winners that I either recognized or work at companies I know about include the following people:

  • Sarah Bird, CEO of Moz
  • Joel Freet, CEO of Cutter and Buck
  • Peter Hamilton, CEO of Tune

Congratulations to Taryn on this recognition.

Thanks to Matt Overman for sharing this news with me.
