VE.com Acquired by Aron Meystedt

The Whois for VE.com changed over the weekend, and Aron Meystedt of XF.com Company is listed as the new owner of the domain name. Aron is also the Director of the Intellectual Property Department at Heritage Auctions.

I don’t recall seeing the domain name listed for sale anywhere, so I don’t have any idea of the price to acquire the domain name. I emailed Aron this morning seeking a comment about the acquisition, and here’s what he told me:

All parties agreed not to share the price.
I have been searching for another LL for several months – as several brokers and other LL owners can attest 😀
I am happy to have XF.com and VE.com in my little portfolio. I’d really like to brand another small business on VE.com, like I have
done with XF.com. Any acquisition is exciting, for me. My little portfolio consists of mainly the names listed on www.XF.com
(and a few others). I don’t buy or sell very often, so when I do, it’s a lot of fun. I am very blessed and fortunate to have
landed VE.com.

Prior to the sale of VE.com, the domain name had been owned by a company called Visual Engineering, Inc. The website for that company is still operating on VE.com for the time being. Interestingly, Afternic has VisualEngineering.com listed for sale for $4,999.

I will be interested to see if Aron lists VE.com for sale at the next Heritage Auctions domain auction.

I saw the Whois update two days ago, and George Kirikos tweeted that the domain name was acquired by Aron.

  1. Jeff, thanks!
Josh, I agree. Very blessed. God has his hand on my business, and I’m not sure why. It’s not like I deserve any success I’ve had. I’m VERY fortunate.

    Thanks for the kind words.
