Vote: Will You Attend DomainFest?

I received an email from Oversee announcing that the dates for the 2014 DomainFest conference. DomainSponsor, a division of Oversee, will host its annual  DomainFest  conference from March 31 to April 3, 2014, at the Loews Hotel in Hollywood, California. The early bird  registration fee is $695, and it includes all means, parties, and evening parties. The special rate is good through February 14.

For several years, DomainFest had been held at the Fairmont in Santa Monica, California, and this venue change brings the conference back to its original location. I am told this will be the ninth year for DomainFest.

The last conference, called Webfest Global, was held in February of 2013, and a reported 600+ people attended. I was skiing in Canada (Mont Tremblant – awesome but cold) that week, so I was unable to attend last year. I attended 3 or 4 previous DomainFest conferences and thought they were excellent, especially because of the number of people that attended.

With the recent success and big turnout at NamesCon, coupled with the ICANN meeting being held in Singapore the week before DomainFest, I am wondering if you are planning to attend DomainFest 2014. Please vote in the poll below and feel free to share more about your decision.

  1. Thanks for posting this. I’m curious too.
I bet a lot of people reply NO, because NamesCon is still fresh in their minds. It’s hard to get excited for a conference when a big one just ended.

I bet the YES column shoots up in a month or so.

With that said… sure, I’ll probably go.

  2. I agree with Aron. Seems close because we all just got home. IMO it’s a different kind of conference and has always been a great conference. I think Namescon will kill a conference but I don’t think this one will be it.
