Weekly Brokerage Listings – 2/12

68

The new domain name broker listings are below. Submissions this week came from Cax.com, Media Options, Sedo, and Outcome Brokerage. If you want to purchase or discuss one of the domain names, please contact the broker of record directly. I am not involved in (nor do I benefit from) any sales that may occur as a result of the listing, so please don’t contact me about them.

If you wish, you may post one of your domain names for sale in the comment area. The same rules apply for visitors as they do for the brokers – the domain name has to be new to the market, and you need to list a buy it now price along with your contact information. Submissions that don’t adhere to the rules will be deleted. Don’t forget that people can like/dislike comments, although I ask people not to post comments about domain names or other topics..

You may have noticed the “Brokerage” sponsored link in the top menu of my blog. Check out NameBrokers.com when you have a chance. It’s a service from Winged Media and Troy Rushton, best known for its Protrada platform, and they are sponsoring this weekly post.

Here are this week’s domain name listings:

  • Bitcoin.TV – $35,000 – Cax.com
  • Immortal.com – $100,000 – Sedo (Dave Evanson)
  • Duplicate.com – $75,000 – Outcome Brokerage (Ryan Colby)
  • Deceased.com – $25,000 – Media Options (Andrew Rosener)
  • BabyCoupons.com – $35,000 – Media Options (Neal Resnick)
  • Osteopath.com – $40,000 – Media Options (Tess Diaz)

      @aron

You just made a very classic mistake. And not only that but you also devalued the names single letters ventures owned by others. Putting a that low price tag on single letter too soon tell others that how hard it is going to sell these names.

Classic mistake , whether u agree or not but bad move.

But u wish you good luck, in other scenario you are trying to make quick buk which is what I did too in the past but not putting a but it now price instead ask people to make offers above 1k and silently close it.

Good luck to those again who took risks, best wishes with it guys

Maybe he’s smart and looking for a quick buyer that didn’t know they could register single letter names. You say mistake I say smart move. I bet it sells.

      Congrats!

In case the trolls haven’t already noticed, although not scientific, occasionally the domains with the most dislikes are often the best deals. 😉

Dev, single letter domains are the holy grail in .com, personally I would have waited and see what happend with the marketplace. If end users are paying $12,500 for reservation to some terms, these single letter ones surely can command the same price, if a end user comes knocking. Notice the IF. Well if he closed via paypal, and his cost is about $1xx, he probably walks away with about $800 profit, which can catch a nice name on the drop.

This is the name of the game, buy, hold, or sell?

In reply to Dev | February 12th, 2014 at 11:23 pm

      DomainNameAddresses.com

      400% gain, nice work Aaron.

In reply to Ron | February 12th, 2014 at 11:57 pm

      Dev

The name of the game is to make a profit, so I’m not entirely sure what your point is? It’s his business whether he wants to sell or hold, not ours. And as for the buyer (if what you say is true) then they got a heck of a deal, no? Isn’t that the name of a game? Buying low and selling high? We could argue all day about potential future values of speculative domains, but none one knows what tomorrow will bring. A deal is never done until cold hard cash is in your hands. So congrats to buyer and seller!

      P.S. Sorry for commenting E!

      HowieCrosby

The “x” is a “symbolic” letter in the English language when it comes down to single letter domain, but any other in the gTLD, I bet would have proved mighty harder to sell! The “x” works as a brand, put in a “p” etc and it sucks!
I think you’re limited with the singles g’s.

With .coms, it’s different, they have pedigree. Now, if you have a short premium g, with the correct extension, business/professional (google ranking), I believe you have more opportunity for a flip/investment. That’s my scope Ron, cheers.

      Elliot,
I know you disagree, but trust me you have come to did very well in domaining than most and way better than me.

You got in to this niche, and made this so successful when I was not even making any great profits in domaining, investing mostly in cctlds keywords and so many other stupid investments. Eventually, I got in to website developing where I earned my 90 percent of earnings in online and recouped the losses which is where I feel confident.:)

So when it comes domain investing, My friend you did very well. I wish you lots of luck and you obviously made it happen.

Something like a freshwater cooling kit for a yacht costs about $1,500 by itself. Water resistant cases run a few hundred. Bait tanks $100 to $200 or so. Ditto anchor kits. Boat shoes, boat watches, etc. That stuff adds up.

Yacht owners are definitely not short on money to spend.
