Welcoming DomainAdvertising.com

Domain AdvertisingI would like to welcome a new advertiser to my website, Domain Advertising. You may have previously met company representatives at a domain investment tradeshow or read about the company’s founding in a profile, written by Ron Jackson. Domain Advertising is led by domain industry veteran, CEO Dan Warner, and the company has significant financial backing from the Ashmore Group and the Directi Group.

One of the primary offerings of Domain Advertising is what they refer to as “hyper contextual parking solutions.” The company can help domain investors create and test fantastic looking landing pages with a focus on generating maximum revenue for its customers.

Each domain name is optimized with hand selected phrases based on commercial usage and search volume, and the landing page is designed by hand with individually selected images placed by designers. Domain Advertising has an extensive library of images covering hundreds of verticals.   Each image is contextually specific enough that they qualify to be used as clickable images when used in conjunction with the bound phrases – a function not allowed in Google systems. This level of customization can be tested and optimized on an ongoing basis, helping to drive additional revenue.

Although I can’t share links to specific landing pages because of the rules of sending traffic to a parked page, I can share a few sample landing pages the company created and hosts:

Domain Advertising also works directly with advertisers, allowing their advertisements to be placed directly on the sites of publishers. This helps drive additional revenue for publishers, as a layer of management is removed and more relevant links are placed directly on site, driving higher CTRs.

As one might expect from a company that is led by Warner, Domain Advertising is a technology focused and customer centric company. You can sign up for Domain Advertising services and you can also connect with Domain Advertising on Twitter. I look forward to a good relationship with them.

  1. I tested them for 2 months and decided to switch back to both SmartName.com and Parked.com. I only tested with about 5 domains so it might of not of been the best test.

I am curious if anybody else has used them and how there experience has been.

    Thanks, Jim

  2. @ Christoph

I have not tested them, but the domain names I own that get traffic are all developed or flipped quickly. It wouldn’t be fair to them to test a name that I plan to flip quickly.

  3. SuperMedia/Idearc has built out some of these sites (in beta now).

Apparently the model is Ask/Learn/Hire – built, strangely enough, on http://www.AskLearnHire.com/about

To quote them: “SuperMortgages.com is a community where lenders, mortgage brokers, advisors and experts can share their expertise and answer questions about everything related to mortgages. This is where consumers can ask questions, compare answers, do research, and hire the best service provider for their needs.”

    http://www.SuperMechanics.com
    http://www.SuperMortgages.com
    http://www.SuperRemodelers.com
    http://www.SuperHVAC.com

    Interesting approach.

  4. Elliot,

Domainadvertising have to have the worst customer service I have experienced in all my time domaining.

I signed up to them over 3 months ago. Not once have I got a reply from a named account represenative at their company after months of emails.

I have build up only a small amount of $140 in my first month there and in 4 months have not been paid. I realised it was because I had not got my paypal email added which I emailed to support, but of course that was like talking to a brick wall. I’ve removed my domains since. I can saftly say I did not have a good experience but I’m sure others will.

    Thanks

  5. I am not saying this specifically about DomainAdvertising but
everytime I test the “new” hot service out, it never seems to be as good as Parked.com, SmartName.com, and TrafficZ.com for me. I been with those companies for 5 years.

Bottom line is this, every company talks but until it’s time tested and get solid feedback on results, never believe what you hear. Follow actions, follow results, everything else is just noise.

    Thanks, Jim

  6. elliot, if you have so much confidence in dan werner please tell everyone the profit they have made?? or are you just buddies with them?? integrity is important! once you loose it it is LONG gone!

    • @ jim Weiner

I am not really a domain parker, so I can’t speak to that. As you can clearly see, they are an advertiser. If you’ve been in the domain biz long enough, you know what Dan has accomplished. If not, I recommend that you Google his name and do some research.
