Robin Hood Films to Premiere Dirty Dealing

Jon Schultz and Chris Hood are probably best known in domain investing circles for selling the Ebola.com domain name. They are also film makers and partners in a film company called Robin Hood Films, and the company is set to premiere its new film, Dirty Dealing 3D, starring actor Michael Madsen. Schultz is the Executive Producer on the film and Hood is the Writer, Producer and Director.

The company’s domain investments have helped them finance and grow their film business. According to Hood, “It’s the success of the domain business that got the film business going” Dirty Dealing 3D isn’t their first foray into the film business. Hood also mentioned that “the previous film we were involved in sold to Lionsgate, so we’ve got a bit of momentum going.”

You can visit the Robin Hood Films website for the full details about the film, and Chris Hood shared a brief synopsis with me:

“A group of sexy casino dealers join forces to try to save the sick child of one of their coworkers. When their unscrupulous boss (Michael Madsen) refuses to get the insurance company to help and then reneges on a promise to help them raise the money, the ladies have only one option left at their disposal to raise the money for the costly surgery – they plot an elaborate heist to rob the casino. But as it turns out, one of their team is not who he claims to be and his true loyalty and intentions remain unknown until the night of the caper.”

Dirty Dealing 3D  has a limited theatrical release opening December 5 with a premiere on December 4 at 7pm at the South Point Hotel Cinemark Theater in Las Vegas. There will be some tickets available to the public for the premiere, so if you’re in the area, you might want to check it out.

I have embedded the film’s trailer below.

  1. Few movies get a theatrical release outside of Hollywood. It’s great to see that Dirty Dealing will be playing in 3D at the Southpoint Cinemark! Anyone in Vegas next week should come out.
