Sedo’s June Great Domains Auction Results

Sedo’s June monthly Great Domains auction concluded yesterday, and the results of the auction are listed below. There were quite a few good three letter .com domain names listed for sale in the auction. As you can see, only one of those domain names met the reserve and sold.

YVY.com was the largest sale of the auction, closing at 14,000 EUR (approximately $15,682 USD). There were solid bids on some of the other LLL .com domain names that didn’t hit reserve, so perhaps we will see some of those deals close post-auction. There is an eclectic mix of domain names and extensions in this list of sales.

Because the Great Domains auction concluded yesterday, these sales most likely have not yet closed (paid/transferred). Sedo will report the closed sales in its weekly sales report once the deals are done.

June Great Domains auction results:

  • yvy.com EUR 14,000
  • interest.net $US $2,805
  • taste.net $US $1,854
  • mob.co $US $1,020
  • dspm.com $US $730
  • plfx.com $US $510
  • tvdk.com $US $310
  • ego.biz EUR 109
  • springoutfits.com $US $109
  • forcing.net $US $109
  • rickets.org $US $109

  1. SEDO is now charging for any submission for their “Great domains auction” even if the submission is not accepted.Even BrabdBucket doesn’t expect to be paid upfront. With these poor results Sedo may want to reconsider that charge or change the auction’s name.”Great” doesn’t seem to fit.

  2. Shame to SEDO. Each month the “Great Domains” auction get worst.
I don´t know who are the “brokers” in charge to pick-up this “gems” at SEDO
but definetly they should search another job. LLL.com are hot? and what ?
If you fill up the inventory with LLL.COMs they wont sell all (one in this case) because with such reserves …
Finally the “GREAT DOMAINS” auction will bring SEDO some pennies (talking about commision). They should fire-off their “brokerage team” and change the auction name to: SEDO´s monthly “CRAPPY DOMAINS” auction.
